3.I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on receipt of the complaint of the petitioner, C.S.R.No.214 of 2015 has been assigned and the matter is pending for enquiry. The counter petitioners have also lodged a complaint against this petitioner and on receipt of the same, C.S.R.No.198 of 2015 has been assigned and the said complaint is also pending for enquiry. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submits that since the dispute between the petitioner and the counter petitioners is purely civil in nature, the matter has already been referred to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Ponneri and on 23.04.2015 status quo order has been passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer. But the learned counsel for the petitioner denies the same and thus sought for direction. 5.

Considering the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this court is of the view that at this juncture there is no need to give any specific direction to the respondent police, since the matter is pending before the Revenue Divisional Officer for enquiry. Hence, this criminal original petition is closed.
