O R D E R
This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to grant permission for conducting procession on 18.09.2018 near the Kuringipadi Bus stand, Cuddalore District. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is an Advocate and Town Secretary of the Viduthalai Siruthaikal Katchi of the Kurinigipadi Town, Cuddalore District. He further submitted that the petitioner has decided to have peaceful procession on 18.09.2018 to condemn https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the activities against the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe People near the Kuringipadi bus stand and hence, for seeking permission, the petitioner has submitted an application before the 2nd respondent on 16.09.2018. But, so far, no action has been taken.
3.The Learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that after receipt of the application of the petitioner, the second respondent has conducted an enquiry and the said application was rejected and permission was not given to the petitioner for having procession. However, the petitioner has conducted the procession and hence, a case was registered against the petitioner.
4.As per the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the petitioner has already conducted the procession on 18.09.2018 itself and hence, this petition is dismissed as infructuous. No Costs.
