Respondent PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C to direct the District Court (Sessions Judge) to entertain the bail application filed by the petitioner in party-in-person for the accused 2 & 3 in Crime No.183 of 2016 pending investigation on the file of the respondent police.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to District Sessions Judge, Tiruvannamalai to entertain the bail application filed by the petitioner as party-in-person for the accused 2 & 3 in Crime No.183 of 2016 pending on the file of the respondent-Police.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that a case in Crime No.183 of 2016 for the offences under Sections 448, 294(b), 324, 307 & 4 of Women Harassment Act has been registered by the respondentPolice against one Vijayakeerthi(A1) and also against Vedapuri (A2) and Dhachanamoorthy (A3), who are the brothers of the petitioner herein, and that they were arrested on 21.06.2016 and are in judicial custody.

4. On account of boycott of Courts, the petitioner was not able to engage an advocate for filing the bail application. Therefore, the petitioner filed the bail application as party-inhttps://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

person, on behalf of her brothers (A2 & A3) before the District and Sessions Judge, Tiruvannamalai on 18.07.2016, and it is the grievance of the petitioner that the same is not being entertained by the learned Judge.

5. Administratively, this Court has issued certain advisories to all the Judges of the Sub-ordinate Courts to deal the bail applications filed on behalf of the accused who are in jail.

6. The District and Sessions Judge, Tiruvannamalai, is directed to follow the advisory and entertain the bail applications received from the relatives or directly from prison or through the Legal Services Authority.
