Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the entire records pertaining to the impugned order of the third respondent in proceeding No.Na.Ka.No.23906/2018/J10 dated 29.11.2019 and quash the same and to direct the respondents herein to grant patta to the members of the petitioner association and assigned the land to the members of the petitioner's with appropriate description, in the place identified at Akkarai Village, Shozhinganallur Taluk, Kancheepuram District. When this matter was listed for hearing on earlier occasion i.e., on 24.06.2024, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that he has given "Change of Vakalat" and handed over the case papers to the petitioners. Hence, this Court directed the Registry to delete the name of Mr.S.Saravana Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioners and print the name of the petitioners in the cause list and adjourned the case to 01.07.2024.
2. Even on 01.07.2024 & 02.07.2024, there was no representation for the petitioners. Hence, the matter was adjourned to 10.07.2024 and directed Page No.2 of 5
the Registry to list the case under the caption "For Dismissal"
3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, there was no representation for the petitioners. Hence, this Court has no other option except to dismiss this writ petition for Non-prosecution.
4. In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed for Nonprosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
