This writ petition is filed to direct the respondent to measure the petitioner's land viz., Survey No.139/1A to an extent of 0.05.5 ares of land 1/4
in Arunthathipalayam, Chettupattu Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District, by disposing of the petitioner's representation dated 03.05.2023, within the time stipulated by this court.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

The case of the petitioner is that the subject property was acquired by way of a registered Settlement Deed dated 24.10.1972 vide Document No.2147/1972 and the Revenue authorities also issued manual patta in favour of the petitioner. It is the grievance of the petitioner that he has given a representation on 03.05.2023 to survey the said property and demarcate its boundaries. However, the same has not been considered by the respondent. Hence, the present Writ Petition.
4. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.05.2023 and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation for survey of the property and demarcate the boundaries, after giving 2/4
notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other interested persons, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
