Mr.M.S.Ramesh, AGP C O M M O N O R D E R Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.S.Ramesh, learned Additional Government Pleader, who took notice for the respondent and with their consent, the main writ petitions are taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The writ petitions have been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking direction to the respondent herein to consider and dispose of the applications dated 10.4.2015 of the petitioner herein to issue Maxi Cab Stage Carriage Permits forthwith to him.

3. The petitioner has applied for issue of Maxi Cab Permit for carrying passengers to various places of the Dharmapuri City on a fixed route and as per the fare fixed by the State Transport Authority/Regional Transport Authority in the interest of travelling public along with necessary required documents and fees on 10.04.2015. But, the same were not considered. Hence, the petitioner sent a representation dated 01.08.2015 to consider and issue permit as asked for in the applications dated 10.04.2015. But, till date, there is no response. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court.

4. Without going into the merits of the case, these writ petitions are disposed of by directing the respondent to consider the applications of the petitioner for issuing Maxi Cab Stage Carriage Permit and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
