This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to investigate the matter in Crime No.451 of 2015 and to file a final report within a stipulated period.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that investigation is almost completed and if six months time is granted by this Court, the investigation would be completed and final report would be filed by the respondent before the concerned Court.

4. Recording the same, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and either file a final report or closure report in accordance with law, under intimation to the petitioner.
