PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents 1 and 2 to consider and pass orders on the representation dated 28.03.2024 submitted by the petitioner requesting to take necessary steps to pass an order to release a new vehicle to the Chariman of Anakkavur Panchayat Union as necessary " Noc" and "Condemn certificate" were issued by the concerned authorities in respect of the earlier vehicle and pass orders. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2.This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.03.2024.
3.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is a chairman of the Anakkavoor Panchayat Union and he was provided with a car bearing Registration No.TN.09G-2187 and the said car was hit by a tractor. A case was also registered wherein it was stated that the rash driving of the driver of the tractor is the reason for accident. The Motor Vehicle Inspector gave a report dated 30.04.2021 stating that all the parts of the Car bearing Registration No.TN.09G-2187 got seriously damaged and unable to repair. The petitioner obtained "No Objection Certificate" and "Condemn Certificate from the concerned police and RTO. Thereafter, the petitioner sent a representation on 28.03.2024 to the respondents along with the necessary particulars to release a new vehicle as the vehicle was damaged. However, the representations were not considered. Hence this petition.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.03.2024 and pass orders.
5. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that they will consider the case of the petitioner and take action in the manner known to law.
6. Considering the facts of the case, this Court directs the petitioner to produce all the necessary particulars required by the respondents and on receipt of the particulars, the respondents are directed to verify the same and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
