O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the the District Crime Branch, Tirupur District, the respondent herein, to complete the investigation of the case in Crime No.407 of 2013 and forthwith file a final report.

2. When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint lodged by the petitioner was registered by the Inspector of Police, Vellakoil Police Station, Tirupur, in Crime No.407 of 2013 and subsequently the case was transferred to the District Crime Branch, Tiruppur and assigned Crime No.2 of 2015. Now the District Cime Branch had completed investigation and filed the charge sheet before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Kangeyam and the same has been taken on file in C.C.No.270 of 2015.

3. Since a case was already registered on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, the prayer has been made in the present petition has become infructuous. Hence, the criminal original petition is closed.
