O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to register the First Information Report and investigate on the petitioner's complaint dated 22.07.2015.

2. In the petition filed by the petitioner, it is stated that the petitioner is working as a Conductor and that his Service Number is 56171. On 22.07.2015, the petitioner was on duty as a Conductor in route number 568B in the bus No.ADI 2307, bearing Registration No.TN 01 8271, proceeding from Mamallapuram to Adyar. While so, about 8.30 a.m., on the way to Adyar, when the bus stopped at Padur, next to Hindustan University, the accused got into the bus through front door and asked one male passenger to take a ticket from Padur to Karapakkam for her. Due to heavy traffic and heavy load in the bus, no ticket was punched to Karapakkam TCS Bus stop and hence, the Bus did not stop there. When the bus was about to cross Karapakkam TCS bus stop, the accused shouted at the petitioner and threatened him and abused him with filthy language insisting that the bus should be

stopped at Karapakkam TCS Bus Stop. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint with the third respondent police on 22.07.2015. As no action is taken on his complaint so far, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

3. Heard both sides.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that one Deepika has lodged a complaint with the respondent police on 22.07.2015 alleging that the petitioner herein has abused her and caused simple injury and that FIR has been registered in C.S.R.No.294/2015. He further submitted that charge sheet has also been filed and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.25/2015 before the learned Mahila Court, Chengalpet. Now the present complaint has been filed as against the said Deepika.

In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to conduct an enquiry on the petitioner's complaint dated 22.07.2015 and dispose of the same in accordance with law, as early as possible. The petitioner is also directed to co-operate with the enquiry. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
