The Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is filed to suspend the sentence imposed through order dated 23.12.2021 against the petitioner in Spl.S.C.No.52 of 2019 on the file of the Special Judge under the POCSO Act, Puducherry and enlarge the petitioner on bail.

2. Considering the nature of allegations that the petitioner has induced the 14 years old child and had intercourse with the child, I am of the view that the allegations are serious in nature and therefore, the petitioner is not entitled to suspension of sentence, pending the criminal appeal.

Hence, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is also dismissed.
