Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioners have filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to issue joint patta in their name, in respect of the property situated in Nanjai Survey No.11/2 Anuppampattu (Phase 1), Pulikkulam Village, Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District, measuring an extent of 78 cents, by considering their representation dated 12.6.2017.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that inspite of the petitioners' representation dated 12.06.2017, the 2nd respondent has not passed any order so far, for the issuance of joint patta.
4. Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioners' representation and pass orders in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.
5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioners, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct 2nd respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 12.06.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving notice to all the interested parties. With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
