O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioner is that nondisposal of the appeal dated 17.11.2017 preferred before the 1st respondent against the order of punishment imposed on him in a disciplinary proceedings of the 2nd respondent. Therefore, the petitioner has sought for a relief to direct the respondents to dispose of such appeal within a stipulated period. 2.

During the course of hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that in view of limited relief sought for, the 1st respondent be directed to dispose of the appeal in accordance with law within a stipulated period of time, without seeking any reply affidavit as the same in no way cause any prejudice to the respondents in any manner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Mrs.R.Janaki, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents submit that the 1st respondents shall have no objection to dispose of the same but this Court should not put any fetter on the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal in any particular manner.

Considering the facts and submissions, this Court dispose of this writ petition at the stage of admission without seeking any reply affidavit, with a direction to the 1st respondent if such appeal is pending, the same shall be disposed of in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order in its own merit. However, it is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion to dispose of such appeal in any particular manner. No costs.
