(Order of the court was delivered by M. SUNDAR,J.,) This writ petition has been filed as Public Interest Litigation.

The complaint of the writ petitioner is that there is a proposal for construction of a Garbage Dumping Yard by demolishing a pre- existing Sewerage Pumping Station and the Sewage Exit Points without public consultation and without prior notice.

The writ petitioner has sent a representation dated 09.10.2017, which is filed as part of the typed set of papers and is at page No.8 of the typed set of papers. The aforesaid representation dated 09.10.2017 has been sent to the Commissioner, Avadi Municipality, who is the second respondent, before us. The prayer of the petitioner before us is to direct the second respondent to dispose of the aforesaid representation. 4.

Considering the nature of the complaint and the limited prayer sought for by the writ petitioner in the hearing, we direct the second respondent to dispose of the aforesaid representation of the writ petitioner dated 09.10.2017 in a manner known to law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after putting on notice all concerned.
