O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to act upon the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 23.05.2014 and to pass orders within the time frame fixed by this Court.
2. Heard Mr.T.Dhanasekaran, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 3.
3. The petitioner is aggrieved by the patta that stands in the name of respondents 5 and 6 and hence, he filed an appeal seeking cancellation of the same. The appeal was filed in the year 2014 and till date, it is kept pending. It is under these circumstances, the present writ petition has been filed.
4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the 2/4
case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after affording opportunity to respondents 4 to 6.
This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
