ORDER

Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to consider his representation dated 13.04.2017 to include the property in S.No.342/9, measuring an extent of 8.50 Ares and New S.No.342/11 measuring an extent of 17.0 Ares in Patta No.409, situated at Konavanan, Kuppam Village, Marakkanam Taluk, Villupuram District, which were wrongly and wantonly removed by the then village Adminitrative Officer, Marakkanam.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in order to rectify the wrong entry, the petitioner has made a representation dated 3.04.2017 before the 2nd respondent, however, the 2nd respondent has not passed any order so far.

4.Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents submitted that the representation given by the petitioner may be treated as an appeal by the 2nd respondent and the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the same and pass orders in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.

5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, I direct 2nd respondent to treat the petitioner's representation dated 13.04.2017 as an appeal and consider the same and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving notice to all the interested parties.

With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
