Mr. S.Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate, takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of the learned counsel for both sides, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. Heard the learned counsel for both sides.

3. The grievance of the petitioners is that, though pension arrears has been paid to the petitioners, subsequently, the salary arrears have not been paid, as per G.O.Ms.No.207, School Education (G-2) Department, dated 30.09.2008. Despite the fact that the petitioners have made a representation, dated 23.02.2015, no orders have been passed by the respondents. Hence, the petitioners have come forward to file this writ petition.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that though the petitioners pray for a larger relief, the petitioners would be satisfied if the pending representation is considered and disposed of by the respondents.

5. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and without going into the merits of the case, this Court hereby directs the first respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders, on the pending representation of the petitioners, dated 23.02.2015, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
