The present Miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 11 days in filing the Criminal Appeal against the order of acquittal in C.A.No.35 of 2022 on the file of the learned Additional District Judge (Fast Track Court) Mettur dated 30.01.2024.

2. Though notice has been served on the respondent and name has been printed in the cause list, none appeared on his behalf.

3. Having satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition stands allowed and the delay is condoned.

4. Registry is directed to number the Criminal appeal, if the papers are otherwise in order and also print the name of the respondent in the cause list.
