Pleader [in both WPs] C O M M O N O R D E R The learned Senior Counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioners fairly made a submission that though the writ petitioner has raised a ground by stating that the actions of the respondents are in violations of the principles of natural justice, now confined before this Court that it is suffice, if a direction is issued to the first respondent to conduct an enquiry in accordance with the procedures as contemplated and by issuing appropriate notice to all the parties concerned and decide the matter in accordance with law.

2.In view of the submissions made by the learned Senior Counsel, the larger relief sought for in the writ petition is now confined to the extent pleaded by the learned Senior Counsel.

3.Accordingly, the writ petitioners are at liberty to submit their explanation/objections and documents if any, to the first respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, the first respondent shall fix a date for conduct of an enquiry by issuing appropriate notice to the respective parties and conduct an enquiry by providing all reasonable opportunities to the writ petitioners to put forth their case in accordance with law. On completion of the enquiry proceedings, the first respondent shall pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a reasonable period of time and preferably within a period of twelve weeks thereafter.

4.With the above direction, these writ petitions are disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
