O R D E R
This Criminal Original Petition is filed directing the respondent police not to harass the petitioner connected to CSR.No.165 of 2021 in Crime No.Unknown Number of 2021 on the file of the respondent police.
2. The contention of the petitioner is that the petitioner is letting out lorry and tractor on rental basis. In the year 2019, in such business, one Chandrabose had given his tractor and the petitioner was hiring it to somebody and now the petitioner had handed over the said tractor to the said Chandrabose. Further he submitted that apart from the said Chandrabose, the petitioner was hiring out the tractor from Anbarasan and letting out to Ramkumar.
3. The learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] submitted that the petitioner is called for enquiry in connection with the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
complaint given in CSR.No.223 of 2021 dated 22.06.2021. Thereafter the petitioner failed to appear for enquiry and now he has been absconded. Earlier to it the above said Anbarasan had lodged a complaint before the respondent police and CSR.No.161 of 2021 assigned. The petitioner appeared before the respondent police and admitted to return back the vehicle of the said Anbarasan and to settle the issue. Hence the complaint lodged by the said Anbarasan was closed.
4. As regards the CSR.No.223 of 2021, enquiry is pending. The petitioner is not available in the address given in the petition. The Village Administrative Officer enquired and given a certificate that the petitioner is not available in the given address.
5. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner on instruction submitted that the petitioner is ready to appear before the respondent police and offer his explanation with the available materials.
6. In view of the same, this Courts directs the petitioner to appear before the respondent and participate in the enquiry and give his explanation with regard to the CSR numbers pending against him.
7. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
