Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the respondent to take appropriate action against the accused person in Crime No.86 of 2014 on the file of the respondent and to file final report within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

ORDER
The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to take appropriate action against the accused persons in Crime No.86 of 2014 and to file final report within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that he has lodged a complaint with the respondent police on 5.6.2014 as against one Amanullah and others and the same was registered in Crime No.86 of 2014 for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b) and 506(ii) I.P.C. Though the said complaint was registered on 29.10.2014, till date, the respondent police has not taken any action on the said complaint. Hence, the present petition.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that in Crime No.86 of 2014, after completion of investigation, referred charge sheet has been filed and a copy of the referred charge sheet was also served on the petitioner.
4. Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the criminal original petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in a manner known to law.
