This application is filed for a direction to the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board to pay a sum of Rs.19,00,000/- with interest thereon. On behalf of the TNEB, it is submitted that only a sum of about Rs.10,00,000/- was deposited with it by the Company in Liquidation. The respondent is directed to file a counter. In addition, the respondent is directed to obtain instructions with regard to the payment of the amount admittedly available with the respondent by way of deposit by the Company in liquidation.
