Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to approve the appointment of the petitioner as Assistant Professor of History in the 4th respondent college with effect from 02.01.2002 instead of 10.08.2006 with all monetary benefits (excluding the salary for the period from 28.03.2003 to 25.03.2004 and from 29.06.2005 to 09.08.2006) on the basis of the representations dated 20.08.2008 and 23.04.2014. The appointment of the petitioner as Assistant Professor in the Department of History by the fourth respondent was approved by the competent authority with effect from 10.8.2006. The petitioner was not given the benefit of earlier service from 02.01.2002. This https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

made the petitioner to submit representations on 20.8.2008 and 23.4.2014 requesting the second respondent to pass fresh orders giving her the benefit from 02.01.2002. Since there was no follow up action taken, the petitioner is before this Court.

2. The second respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representations dated 20.8.2008 and 23.4.2014 on merits and as per law, taking into account the judgment dated 05.3.2012 in W.A.No.2345 of 2011. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
