Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for records of the 2nd respondent passed in Na.Ka.No.Nil/Ka.Thu.Ka/Viru/2015 dated 24.08.2015 insofar as rejecting the permission and to quash the same and to direct the respondents to permit the petitioner sabha to conduct the peaceful meeting at "Anna Thidal" Mangalpettai, Viruthachalam Taluk, Cuddalore District at 6.00 P.M. on 29.08.2015.

2. Heard both sides.

3.By the Impugned order dated 24.08.2015, the request made by the petitioner to conduct meeting at Anna Thidal, Mangalapettai, Viruthachalam Taluk, Cuddalore District was rejected on the ground that it will lead to law and order problem and traffic congestion.

4. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 has submitted that the petitioner can have meeting at Viruthachalam.

5. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the appropriate place at Virudhachalam would be chosen to conduct the meeting.

6. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side, this Writ Petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to choose a place at Virudhachalam to conduct the meeting and intimate the same to the first respondent and the first respondent is directed to give appropriate permission to the petitioner subject to the condition that can be imposed.
