Petitioner seeks for issuance of mandamus, directing the respondents 4 and 5 to act only in accordance with law in respect of collection of tax and approval of building plan for additional construction for the building of the petitioner at 197, Padappai Road, Neelamangalam Village, Kundrathur Panchayat Union, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kanchipuram District-603 202.
2. Petitioner is an educational institution and has submitted a representation, dated 07.11.2014, to respondents 4 and 5, requesting them to consider their case in respect of collection of tax and approval of building plan. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the authorities may be directed to consider the said representation in accordance with law.
3. In the light of the above submission, without going into the merits of the case, there will be direction to the fifth respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 07.11.2014, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
