Prayer: The writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner as a worker on compassionate ground in the Arulmigu Nandeeswarar Temple Nandivaram, Guduvancherry or any other office of the respondents on the petitioner petition dated 13.10.2016.

The relief sought for in the writ petition is for compassionate appointment. The writ petitioner, who is the widow of the deceased employee of Arulmigu Nandeeswarar Temple, Nandivanam, claims that her husband, who was employed as priest in the said temple died on 10.04.2009 while in service due to cancer. The petitioner pleaded that the death of her husband has caused great difficulty in leading her life and the entire family is in indigent circumstances.
2.This Court has requested the learned Special Government Pleader Thiru.M.Maaharaja to consider the case of the writ https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
petitioner by taking up this issue to the Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowment Department. The learned Special Government Pleader is also kind enough to consider the request mooted out by this Court across the Bar.
3.In view of the above, this Court is of the opinion that no further adjudication on merits in this matter is required and suffice to consider the case accordingly.
4.The respondents are directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 13.10.2016 for the compassionate appointment and pass appropriate orders considering the case objectively within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. There is no order as to cost.
