When these writ petitions are taken up for hearing, Mr.J.Ravindran, learned Additional Advocate General-IX assisted by Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents submitted that the petitioners' term as President of Board of Directors is already over and now, the respective Societies are under the administration of the Administrator. Since the petitioners are no longer holding the post of President of the Cooperative Societies, the prayers sought for in these writ petitions have become infructuous. However, it is made clear, in case, the petitioners are 2/4

elected as President of any Cooperative Societies in future, they are entitled to challenge the notice.

3. With the above observation, these writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
