PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the 1st respondent's impugned notices dated 17.03.2025, 25.03.2025 and 04.04.2025 and quash the same and consequently, direct the 1st respondent herein to defreeze the bank account maintained by the petitioner's company with the 1st respondent bank vide bank Account No.50200089623832 and 50200097967005 by considering the representation made by the petitioner dated on 01.04.2025 For Petitioner(s):

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the impugned notice dated 17.03.2025, 25.03.2025 and 04.04.2025 thereby informed about freezing of his accounts which is lying on the file of the 1st respondent.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had business transactions with the second and third respondents, and the entire transaction was only between them. It was further submitted that, apart from the said business transactions, no amount was received by the petitioner through his account. Therefore, his account is not involved in any crime.

3. The submissions made by the learned counsel for the first and fourth respondents reveal that several complaints are pending, and there is a Court order to mark a lien over the petitioner's accounts to the tune of Rs. 39,255/- each. Apart from that, seven complaints are pending across various states and courts; therefore, during the pending investigation, the petitioner's accounts cannot be defreezed. Furthermore, the first respondent has received instructions to mark a lien over the petitioner's accounts to the tune of Rs. 2,03,758/-. Therefore, this Court finds no infirmity or illegality in the notice issued by the first respondent.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
