ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 14.7.2015 in C.S.R.No.330 of 2015.

2. In the petition, it is averred that the petitioner is a tenant under one M.R.Venkataraman.

The said M.R.Venkataraman approached the petitioner to help him to get an award from the SIPCOT Industries pertaining to his land and he has also agreed to pay 20% of the total award amount to the petitioner. The petitioner also helped him to get an award from the SIPCOT Industries and as agreed by the said M.R.Venkataraman, he has to pay a sum of *Rs.9,42,00,000/- to the petitioner. But, when the petitioner asked him to pay the said amount, the said M.R.Venkataraman refused to pay the amount and threatened him with dire consequences. preferred a complaint before the respondent police and the respondent police had issued CSR No.330 of 2015. But, till date, no action was taken on the said complaint. Hence, the present petition.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the matter is purely civil in nature. However, the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 14.7.2015 has been assigned CSR Number as C.S.R.No.330 of 2015.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 14.7.2015 has been assigned CSR Number as C.S.R.No.330 of 2015, this Court directs the respondent to conduct enquiry in C.S.R.No.330 of 2015 and dispose of the same in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
