O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction, to direct the 2nd respondent to provide sufficient police protection to the petitioner and her family members from the private respondents 3 to 6 and to take appropriate action against them.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner and her husband developed love affair with each https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

other, but, the family members of the petitioner did not accept their marriage and that they eloped and married. There was an apprehension from the family members of the petitioner and hence, the present petition.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent would submit that the petitioner and her husband left Puducherry and they are now residing within the jurisdiction of Tamil Nadu i.e Tiruchendur.

4.At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner and her husband are now residing in the matrimonial home at Puducherry. 5.In the light of the above facts and circumstances, this Court directs the respondent police to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and her husband, if they are living within the jurisdiction of Puducherry.

6.With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
