O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioner in this case is that though he has undergone the punishment imposed in a disciplinary proceedings, for the selfsame charges again he has been proceeded and imposed with punishment. Challenging the same, he has filed an appeal and an interim prayer to stay the punishment imposed but no order on the same having been passed, he has come to this Court seeking for the relief to stay the punishment imposed and direct the Appellate Authority to dispose of the Appeal.

2. This Court heard the submission of learned counsel appearing for the petitioner on the question of admission, so also, Mr.P.R.Dhilip Kumar, who accepts notice on behalf of learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

3. Considering the nature of relief sought for, this Court dispose of this writ petition at the stage of admission without seeking any reply affidavit, with a direction to the 1st respondent to pass orders on the interim prayer made by the petitioner to stay the punishment imposed, within a period of 10 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order and dispose of the appeal finally on merits and in accordance with law, within a further period of 30 days from the date of disposal of stay petition. However, it is made clear that this Court has expressed no opinion on the merits of such appeal in any particular manner. No costs.
