This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.04.2025 and to give police protection for the performance of the annual festival in Arulmighu Maha Sakti Kaliamman Temple, Nethimedu, Salem Taluk and District (situated behind the Superintendent of Police, Salem District).

3. Considering the limited relief sought for in the petition, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, directs the third respondent to consider the representation dated 03.04.2025 made by the petitioner after issuance of notice to the petitioner and the 2/4

counter-parties, if any, and after giving an opportunity of hearing to them, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law forthwith.
