This writ petition has been filed for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to act upon the representation made by the petitioner on 20.12.2022, wherein the petitioner has sought for reference to the competent Court under Section 8 of the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Industrial Purposes Act, 1997.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to act upon the representation and make a reference under Section 8 of the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Industrial Purposes Act, 1997, before the competent Court, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Writ Petition is disposed of in the above terms. There shall be no order as to costs.
