By consent of the learned counsel on either side, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal and is disposed of by this order. The learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent.

The petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition seeking for a Mandamus to direct the respondent to consider and dispose of the representation dated 02.03.2021 within a time frame seeking to permit the petitioner to participate in the physical test conducted for the post of Sub-Inspector of Police, 2019.

This Court heard the submissions of the learned counsel on either side and also perused the materials placed before it.

Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, the respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 02.03.2021, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
