Respondents in both W.P.'s Prayer in W.P.No.26937 of 2015: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to prepare the List for Panel of Promotion in consonance with the General Rule 35 and according to Executive Directions of the 1st Respondent in Na.Ka.No.5939/Edu.1/2001 dated 15.11.2001, directing the Respondents to include Petitioner's name in the List of Panel for promotion to the post of Primary School Head Master, and consequently promote the petitioner to the post of Primary School Head Master,forthwith. 3. The grievance of the petitioners in both these Writ petitions is that though they are eligible to be included, they have not been included in the list of panel for promotion to the post of Primary Head Master. Thus the petitioners (in both W.P.'s) gave representations to the third respondent on 18.02.2015 and 27.02.2015 respectively, As the said representations were not considered till date, the petitioners have filed the above writ petitions.
2. Though the prayer sought for by the petitioners in the present writ petition is for a larger relief, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners has submitted that it would suffice, if the representation of the petitioners, dated 18.02.2015 and 27.02.2015 are directed to be disposed of by the third respondent, on merits, within a specified period.
3. The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents, has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court.
4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on either side, the third respondent is directed to dispose of the representations, dated 18.02.2015 and 27.02.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
