ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to register a case base based on the complaint dated 7.3.2015 in CSR No.129/2015.

2. The second respondent is the mother in law and the third respondent is the wife of the petitioner. It is the case of the petitioner that he married the third respondent on 11.7.2014. After marriage, he came to know that the third respondent already got married thrice. Hence, he lodged a complaint before the first respondent police as against respondents 2 and 3. Though the said complaint was lodged on 7.3.2015, till date, no action was taken on the said complaint. Hence, the present petition.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint dated 7.3.2015 given by the petitioner, an enquiry was already conducted and the same was closed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Since the complaint lodged by the petitioner was already closed, this Court cannot give a direction to the respondent police to enquire into the matter. Hence, the present criminal original petition is dismissed. However, the first respondent is directed to serve a copy of the closure report to the petitioner within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
