O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to file the final report in Crime No.923 of 2014 on the file of the respondent.

2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint with the respondent police on 03.08.2014 as against one Gunapushanam Daniel @ Flora Daniel for the alleged offence under Sections 406, 420, 294(b), 506(i) of IPC. Based on the said complaint, a case in Crime No.923 of 2014 was registered. Though the F.I.R. was registered a year back, till date, the investigation is not completed and the final report has not been filed. Hence, this petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

4. Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the respondent to complete the enquiry in respect of Crime No.923 of 2014 on his file and file a final https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

report as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
