reply of the 2nd respondent vide Na.Ka.No.A5/ 2152/ 2024 dated 09.10.2024 and the petitioner's representation dated 13.10.2025 within a time limit fixed by this Honble Court.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by Dr.G.Jayachandran J.) This Writ Petition is filed, seeking a mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to remove the encroachments in the common pathway located in Survey No.20, Parikam Village, Chinnasalem Taluk, Kallakurichi District.
2. While hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner, when we asked whether there is any pathway existing in Survey No.20, as alleged in the writ petition, the learned counsel fairly conceded that there is no pathway in the said survey number as on date.
3. We requested the authorities to establish a pathway to carry on the agricultural produce by the farmers through the said survey number No.20 and the same has been responded positively by the Block Development Officer of Kallakurichi vide communication, dated 09.10.2024, but, till-date, no action has been taken.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the respondents consider the representation of the villagers of Kattu Kottai/Parikam,
Eduthavainatham Village, Chinnasalem Taluk, Kallakurichi District, to establish a pathway to carry on their agricultural produce.
5. Learned Government Advocate submits that the representation of the petitioner for road access will be considered, based on feasibility.
6. Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondents to explore the possibility of laying a pathway in Survey No.20 for the villagers of Kattu Kottai/Parikam, Eduthavainatham Village, Chinnasalem Taluk, Kallakurichi District, as expeditiously as possible. No costs.
