ORDER

This petition has been filed by the defacto complainant to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.345 of 2018.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent has registered a case on 04.04.2018 in Crime No.345 of 2018 for the offence under Sections 406,420,506(i) of IPC, thereafter no steps have been taken to file any final report and hence he requests to direct the respondent to file final report at early.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that after registering the case, the matter has been taken up for investigation and the investigation is in progress. She further submitted that four weeks time may be granted for filing final report.

4. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and file final report within four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5.With the aforesaid directions, this petition is disposed of.
