O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The original application submitted by the petitioner as a departmental candidate in pursuance to notification dated 08.02.2015 for recruitment as a Sub-Inspector, was as a scheduled caste candidate and not the sub-caste the petitioner mentioned it as 'Arunthathiyar'. It appears that the methodology of loading the application requires her to apply separately under the category 'Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyar)'.

2.If the petitioner would have come earlier, possibly she could have been given the interim relief by permitting her to participate https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

in the physical endurance test, as is stated to have been given in other cases. The petitioner, however, approached this Court only on 26.08.2015, which is after the physical endurance test was over on 04.08.2015.

3.We have noticed in various matters dealing with the selection process that unless the persons apply in time, delay would be fatal as the examination process for large number of candidates requires attention immediately and the whole process cannot be affected. 4.In view of the failure of the petitioner to approach this Court at the relevant stage, we are unable to grant any relief. 5.Writ Petition is, thus, dismissed. No costs. Consequently, M.P.Nos.1 to 3 of 2015 are also dismissed.
