O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to file the final report in Crime No.221 of 2015 within the time stipulated by this Court before the concerned Court.

2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint as against Raji, Babu and others for the alleged offence under Section 397 IPC. Though the said complaint was lodged on 13.11.2013 on the allegation that the persons referred to in the F.I.R. are cutting the bamboo trees from the petitioner land and loading the same in a lorry bearing registration No.TN-50-D-8294, almost two years have lapsed, till date, the investigation is not completed and the final report has not been filed. Hence, this petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

4. Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the respondent to complete the investigation https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

in respect of Crime No.221 of 2015 on his file and file a final report as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
