ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to register a case against the accused person Parasuraman and investigate the matter according to law on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner to the respondent on 28.8.2015.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that one Parasuraman borrowed a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- from the petitioner for selling his land at Chengalpattu. But, the said Parasuraman by forging the documents tried to sell the petitioner's land to a third party. When the petitioner asked him for return of his money, he threatened him with dire consequences. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the respondent police on 28.8.2015. But, till date, no action was taken on the said complaint. Hence, the present petition.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that there is an allegation of forgery against the said Parasuraman. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Further he has submitted that the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 28.8.2015 has been assigned CSR Number as C.S.R.No.979 of 2015.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 28.8.2015 has been assigned CSR Number as C.S.R.No.979 of 2015, without going into allegation made in the complaint, this Court directs the respondent to conduct enquiry in C.S.R.No.979 of 2015 and dispose of the same in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
