O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to grant permission to the petitioenr to conduct Temple festival programmes by fitting sound system and cultural programmes in Manjarampattikaadu Village, Dharmapuri District and to conduct the temple functions on 05.07.2017 as part of Sri Mariamman festival at Dharmapuri District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 30.06.2017 2.It is the case of the petitioner that inspite of the representation being given to the respondent on 30.06.2017 for conducting cultural programme in the Temple on 05.07.2017, the respondent has not passed orders till today.

3.A Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(MD).No.3773 of 2017 by order dated 03.03.2017 in similar circumstances directed the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and dispose of the same.

4.Following the order passed by the Division Bench, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.06.2017 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on or before 03.00 pm today (i.e.) 05.07.2017.

5.The learned Special Government Pleader undertakes to inform the respondent with regard to the order passed by this Court.

6.With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
