Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records of the 4th respondent in Uu.Mu.No.132/2019 dated 31.12.2019 and to quash the same and for a consequential direction to the 3rd respondent to issue a patta in the name of the petitioner as per the order of the assignment given Special Tahsildar (Assignment)

as per Collector Office Reference RC.No.199636/81 N2 dated 29.03.1983.

Prayer in W.P.No.12874 of 2020:

Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records of the 4th respondent in Uu.Mu.No.132/2019 dated 31.12.2019 and to quash the same and for a consequential direction to the 3rd respondent to issue a patta in the name of the petitioner as per the order of the assignment given Special Tahsildar (Assignment) as per Collector Office Reference RC.No.199636/81 N2 dated 29.03.1983. For Petitioner .. Mr.M.L.Ramesh in all WPs For Respondents.. Mr.R.Vijayakumar, AGP in all WPs COMMON ORDER (Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) What have been challenged in these writ petitions are only show cause notice issued by the 4th respondent under Section 7 of The Land Encroachment Act, 1905. The petitioners have also given their explanation on 06.01.2020.

2. In such view of the matter, we direct the 4th respondent to pass final orders by taking into consideration the reply given by the petitioners within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to state that till then, status quo as on today shall be maintained by both parties. These writ petitions are disposed of accordingly with the above directions. No costs. Consequently, connected WMPs are closed.
