PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the entire records in pursuant to the letter issued to the petitioner by the 3rd respondent vide Na.Ka.No.88/Tho.Ko.1/2023 dated 06.04.2023 and quash the same with a consequential direction to the 2nd respondent to replace the 4th respondent as enquiry officer by any other suitable officer to conduct domestic enquiry against the petitioner in pursuant to the Charge Memorandum dated 10.12.2022 issued to him by the 2nd respondent.

ORDER

The petitioner's request to replace the fourth respondent herein as the Inquiry Officer, has been rejected through the impugned order dated 06.04.2023. Hence, he now seeks for replacement of a different Inquiry Officer, in the present Writ Petition.

2. Pending the Writ Petition, the respondents have changed the Inquiry Officer and appointed one P.B. Balaji, as the Inquiry Officer. 2/4

Since the grievance of the petitioner has been met, no effective orders can be passed in the present Writ Petition.

3. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
