ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking quashment of the impugned order dated 09.02.2024, passed by the Principal Labour Court, Coimbatore, in C.P.No.29 of 2022.

2. By the impugned order dated 09.02.2024, the Labour Court, Coimbatore has directed the petitioner to pay an amount of Rs.2,99,424/- along with interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date of petition, till the date of payment to the respondent.

3. After hearing both sides and perusing the records, it is noted that both parties have reached a consensus and the respondent is willing to accept a sum of Rs.2,99,424/- without interest, and the petitioner has agreed to the same.

4. Recording the said submissions of both sides, the Writ Petition is disposed of on the following terms:

(i) The petitioner shall pay a sum of Rs.2,99,424/- to the respondent without interest within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is also made clear that the disposal of the Writ Petition will not have bearing of any other claims made by the respondent. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
