By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner claims to be the Head of the Festival Organizing Committee of Shri Muthu Mariamman Temple, situate at Kolavai village, Veppur Taluk, Cuddalore District. He submitted a representation/application dated 04.06.2016 to the respondent, seeking permission to conduct a cultural program on 08.06.2016, in connection with the temple festival, which includes song and dance programme and since, he has not been favoured with any kind of response, came forward to file this writ petition.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions, would submit that in the event of permission being granted to conduct the song and dance programme, there will not be any law, order or communal problem and no vulgarity or obscenity will be there and hence, prays for appropriate orders. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.RAS. Senthilvel, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and who would submit that since the petitioner has approached this Court at the very last minute, it may not be possible for the respondent to pass orders.
5. This Court considered the rival submissions.

As rightly contended by the learned Special Government Pleader, the petitioner has approached this Court at the very last moment and therefore, this Court is not in a position to pass any positive orders in respect of the function to be held today (08.06.2016). However, taking into consideration, the facts and circumstances, this Court permits the petitioner to submit one more representation/application to the respondent to conduct the cultural programme in connection with the temple festival to be held on future date and the respondent, on receipt of the same, is directed to consider the said representation / application in accordance with law within a period of one week from the date of receipt of such representation/application and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
