Since the final compensation determined by the third respondent was too low, many lands owners preferred an application, seeking enhancement of compensation. By which one Mr.S.G.Jothy, one of the land owners preferred a reference application in LAOP No.110 of 2012, seeking enhancement of compensation and the same was allowed by enhancing the compensation from Rs.12,352/- per are to Rs.21,261/- per are, along with 30% solatium and 12% additional market value. However, till date, the same was not considered. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.
