Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.11.2014 for extend of benefit of G.O.Ms.No.85 Rural Development and Panchayat (P.A.4) Department, dated 11.09.2012 and pay all the pensionary benefits in the light of Letter No.32103/E7/2004-I, dated 13.09.2004.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Special Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents.

3. It is stated that the Petitioner is aged about 80 years. He was working as a Welfare Officer and finally retired as a Deputy Block Development Officer. Seeking extension of the benefits of Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.85 Rural Development and Panchayat (P.A.4) Department, dated 11.09.2012, the petitioner made a representation to the first respondent on 26.11.2014. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.

4. Considering the pendency of the representation, without going into the merits of the case, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the representation, dated 26.11.2014, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to furnish a copy of the representation dated 26.11.2014 to the first respondent along with a copy of this order,within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
