This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondents to register the Tenancy Agreement pending before the second respondent in accordance with the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Regulation of Rights and Responsibilities of Landlords and Tenants Act, 2017.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and the third respondent and consider the documents produced by the petitioner for registration within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
